Savage Recognized by Ohio Valley Region for Global Impact of Technology Innovations
June 19, 2017 – EY has announced that Kent Savage, founder and CEO of Apex Supply Chain Technologies® is the winner of an Entrepreneur of the Year® 2017 Award in the Ohio Valley region.
Savage was recognized in the award’s Supply Chain Software category and is one of 12 Ohio Valley finalists selected by a panel of independent judges to receive this honor.
The awards program, which is in its 31st year, recognizes entrepreneurs who excel in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
The 28 finalists competing for the Ohio Valley Region’s awards collectively generated more than $1.4B of revenue in 2016 and employed more than 10,000 people.
The Entrepreneur of the Year award acknowledges that Savage’s ingenuity, spirit of innovation and discipline have driven the success of Apex, transformed the automated dispensing industry and made a positive impact on companies around the world.
